If you haven’t made My Yahoo! your home page yet, try it out. Since you have your page the way you want it, you might as well use it as a home page. You’ll get a nice, warm feeling every time you start up a browser, and it’ll probably feel more personal than what you have now.
Here’s how to set these browsers to open up on My Yahoo!. It takes only a few seconds.
Internet Explorer:
1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options
2. From the General tab, look for the Home Page section
3. In the Address box, type http://my.yahoo.com
4. Click the OK button
Firefox:
1. From the Tools menu select Options
2. From the Main menu, look for Startup and Home Page
4. Type http://my.yahoo.com and click the OK button

Would love to, but its not available in india! When is it gonna come to other countries…
Who knows what I’m doing not me. I’m just trying this thing out.
I love the new beta version. I love the mail beta and the new my yahoo beta. MY ONLY complaint is that once I made MY YAHOO BETA my home page, if i am not very careful I end up clicking on RETURN TO ORIGINAL, etc…., because it is next to the BLOG and just below the search for internet explorer. CAN YOU PLEASE MOVE THE RETURN TO ORIGINAL MY YAHOO SOMEPLACE ELSE, LIKE IN THE TOOLS SECTION OR SOMETHING OR UNDER HELP OPTIONS FOR YAHOO??? I am just learning how to use the internet services available to me I use to only check my e-mail, etc… But, now I’d like to know more and things as simple as the placement of things make a big difference for me. I know, I know not a big problem, but a problem for internet idiots like me, who want to use the services and be commited to catching up with the times, etc…
This is a good idea and all, but I’m sorry, but it won’t work. But some of us have a multitude of users on our computers on any given day, so this really doesn’t work too well for us, now does it?
I already enjoy all the benefits of the new My Yahoo Beta. I especially love the new feature of adding pages according to taste, so I have my normal My Yahoo page, then page 2 is for my hobbies, and page 3 is for bookmarks.. it really helps!
Keep it up.
I changed my daily start-site to the new My Yahoo, but I can not access it with the new Camino 1.5 version (which I´m using more than Safari).
Are you planning to support more Browsers?
And the heart of Camino is the same like Firefox, so it shouldn´t be that problem to integrate Support for Camino too
I’m not really happy with yahoo But I’m stuck with it for a while. Not that it’s that bad. It only take seven hours to upload E-mail. Video is start, stop, start, stop. I’m paying for DSL and getting Dial up. Not really too happy with the service but the Home Page Templates are pretty cool.
Followed directions, clicked OK button and nothing happened. Does that mean it is already installed or what?
Love the new page…..EXCEPT..the page jumps when I scroll..IT jumps a complete paragraph or so at times …..The former home page did not have this problem…nor is it present in my other programs…HELP
I’v been trying to customize my Yahoo home page, everytime I do this I get homepage homepage homepage (7 times) and I don’t know how to delete the 6 and keep the one I want -
Also I tried to add tv stations and it went to another homepage … how do I incorporate my two pages so I have everythin on ONE PAGEm I’m very frustated with Yahoo home page.
I have been using MyYahoo.com for years and have tried the new BETA version. I really like it except for two things that are so annoying I may have to stop using it. The first one is the mail preview, even when i have read and deleted an email, the Yahoo! Mail preview still shows that email as in my inbox. I have the setting to auto-refresh. I also refresh the page and it goes away only to reappear again the next time the page is loaded. Secondly, the advertisement section in the upper right hand corner of my screen takes up important and valuable real estate on my screen, a place where i have ALWAYS kept my Bookmarks. Not only can i not move that advertisement somewhere else, I have to get used to my bookmarks in a different location. Makes me cranky.
Don’t like the advert, don’t like the intrusive and undeletable MyQuicklinks, can’t revert to old style home page. What happened to customer choice?
Dikul, Colleen from the My Yahoo! team here. Thought you might like to know that you can “collapse” My Quicklinks (in case you haven’t discovered this). If you want a bit more breathing room on your page, try clicking the small down arrow to the left of My Quicklinks.
How can I share my pages link in my old yahoo blog website? Is this will see all the pages if I provide one link per pages?
I need some answer thank you.
