Calendar Module Update.

Hello everyone,

Many of you use the Calendar module to keep track of your appointments. Depending on your time zone, you may have recently noticed that calendar entries in your module are appearing with incorrect times.

We want you to know that we’re seeing your feedback, listening to your concerns, and are now working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible. While we’re fixing the module, make sure to visit Yahoo! Calendar to keep up with your schedule. We’ll update this blog when we’ve made the necessary repairs.

Lottery Module Update.

Hi everyone,

If you use the Lottery module on My Yahoo!, you’ll notice that the data has not been updated since April 2. We are currently working very hard with the website that provides the lottery information to get the feed restored.

We will follow up with another blog post once we know more, but in the meantime be sure to check updated lottery results at lottery.yahoo.com. Apologies for the inconvenience and good luck with your numbers!

You wanted larger fonts, voila!

Hi everyone,

I spend a lot of time in front of the computer and sometimes my eyes get tired. It’s even worse when I have to strain to read something on my screen. I’m not alone – lots of people were giving us similar feedback. In response, My Yahoo! has launched a new Font Size feature.

Increasing the font size on your screen is now an option in the personalization menu. Just click the Personalize this Page button and select ‘Large Fonts’ from the drop down menu. One click and your font goes up a size!

With all the great modules to choose from in My Yahoo!, there’s bound to be one that you go to first thing in the morning. Maybe it’s a news source that keeps you in the know, or maybe it’s more of a guilty pleasure that gets your day off to the perfect start.

For me, the Golf News module from Yahoo! Sports gets me into the swing of things every morning. I added the module a few weeks ago and always find myself checking in for the latest updates and tips on how to improve my game. Especially with The Masters next weekend and a “Tiger” on the prowl, this module is the perfect hole-in-one for me.
