Actually, I like it. I thought it was keyed from my Yahoo Search preference to open a new window when clicking on a search result. If not, I’d like the option in My Yahoo to open a new window when clicking a link.

Mark, I don’t like the automatic new window myself, but you can get this to happen all the time. Just right-click the message, and a box will open. Select the “Open in new window” option.

An option to allow this to happen would be cool. But I think this bug has also broken My Yahoo! Reader

Does this bug include Flicker photo’s? Mine will no longer pop up when you mouse over them. I can see no more than a thumb nail. Thanks

I like it also and would like to how do i do that automatically? I know I can right click, but it would be cool if I could program the pages to open in another window.

Thank you for letting us know. This has been driving me crazy for several days and I couldn’t figure out how to get it to stop! I was just about to change my home page when I found this topic. Thanks again for working to fix the issue.

I would like to see this as an option. The way it is now, I’m ending up with about 10 open windows on my iPhone.

I am so happy this is a bug. I was afraid they had intentionately changed it. I will be very glad when it is fixed.

Really glad to hear this is a bug, because I was about to start looking for a new home page. It seems a few people actually like this behavior (*shudder*), so perhaps you can make it a configurable option. But count me among the majority who’d rather remove his own appendix with a screwdriver than to have popup windows appear every time I click on a link.

(BTW, if you *do* like your links to open in a different viewing panel, use shift-click for a new window, or ctrl-click or scrollwheel-click for a new tab. Easier than right-clicking and selecting from a menu, IMO.)

I agree with Mark, I like it because when you close the tab it returns you to the same spot on the My Yahoo page where you clicked on the article. I would like to see this as an option in My Yahoo.

I am unable to log into my email as it does not get to the page to log in. Is there something wrong?
Please advise.
Warm Regards
winston

I have the opposite problem. I use firefox, and I used to have a new tab pop up everytime I clicked on a link. Now I can’t. So when I click on someone’s email address….it doesn’t open in a new window or tab. Firefox is set up properly. Anyone know what causes this problem?
