My, oh my…
A few weeks ago, I talked about the new Content Gallery and how easy it is to add content to your page. We just released a new enhancement feature in the Gallery that allows you to preview content before you add it. You always watch a trailer before you see a movie and you always test drive a car before you buy it, right?
To try it out, simply click “Add Content” in the navigation bar and the page will display the Content Gallery. Then try searching for something… like “american idol”. You’ll get a few search results… all look pretty good.
Which should I add to my page? How will I know which content module will be the most current, rich, entertaining and informative? The “EW.com: ‘American Idol’ coverage” looks like it might be a good place to start. To preview it, simply move your mouse so that the cursor hovers over the content. Like magic, a “Show Preview” link will appear.
Click the link and a preview of the content pops up. This looks like it might be a good one… whoah… a fourth judge on Idol?!?! (Actually, I’m not really an Idol fan, but if I was, I would add this one!) Remember, to add it just click on the “+ Add” button and it will be added to your page. Victory!
Not interested? Don’t move that mouse! The “Show Preview” link has transformed (again, magically) into a “Close Preview” link. Click it to close the preview. Now go do some searches for topics you are interested in, browse casually and preview before you add.
