Oh gosh, I know those who like Obama, like Obama and the Democrats; and those who like McCain, like McCain and the Republicans. But please, folks, KNOW YOUR CANDIDATE'S background -- where he is from, what his values were growing up, what schools/universities he attended, what military service he was in (if any), does he have YOUR best interest at heart or will he destroy the America that we know and love. PLEASE, before you push that botton, be SURE!

I am so tired of all of the old people that is in our government. Most are over the age of 70, what do they know about what this and the next geration need or what will be right for us. If every one would stop voting for these same old people we might move ahead instead of moving backward. The Supreme Court is just one example, look how old these people are, after a certain age, don't you think that, maybe, they should just step down. I don't trust the minds of someone that is so old that you can't tell if they are thinking right. Like McCain, he is in his 70's, is he really of clear mind, after all he did pick Palin, she seems to be just grasping at straws not really knowing what to say or do. And if something happens to McCain, she will be pres.. And at McCain's age, it could happen. We need younger, clearer minds in our goverment.

I am going to vote for the candidate who believes in personal responsibility. For the candidate who believes that this is a great country and if I earn a dollar for my hard work, I should keep as much of it as possible. I am voting for a candidate who understands that government is there to serve the people and not there to save them from themselves.

... Guess I won't be voting for president this year!

When the primaries were over I did not want Mcain or Obama. They were on equal level both not able to do the job. I listened, read, saw the debates. The only thing that I saw about Mcain was that he had extremely bad judgement choosing a running mate that is so far removed from main stream america that she should't want to live here. Main stream America disagrees with most of her outlandish ideas. She hoodwinked him into making her his VP. She can't hoodwink most of the voting population with her cutsy hockey mom nonsense. Her choice as Mcain's vp said it all.

I'll vote Obama because the man elicits confidence
with a strong and sincere want to help the people of this country. He's in touch with main stream like no other canididate has been for years

Wow - the level of desperate behavior is manifesting in the Palin/McCain ticket. I never thought VP candidate McCain would stoop this low. Bringing in Joe Six-pack who is now the de facto presidential candidate was a great error in judgement on McCain's part - what does this tell everyone about his irrational and desperate behavior? Now, with both of them whipping out half-truths, McCarthy-esque tactics, and outright hostility - what does this tell you about the character of each of these candidates? Four more years of ignorant and imcompent W-like behavior. Four more years of Rove-like underhandedness. Four more years of failed ideology-driven politics. Four more years of endless war mentality. Get beyond it folks - Palin is a shell and McCain is a irrational hothead who is still living in the 60s...

Why is it that we only hear from the two parties?
Thats because they have complete control of the election and debate process.
Why don,t we hear from other parties? You should listen to Ralph Nader. He talks with more common sense than all the others but his voice is not heard because the Republicans and Democrats have control of the media and the election process.
