Some of you who have set up multiple tabs and organized your content on various tabs have asked for the option to reorder the tabs. I’m happy to tell you that you can now change the order of the tabs on your page faster than you can say “My Yahoo!”.
Last time I showed you how to create a tab dedicated to all your friends’ blogs, feeds, and other activity. I’m so enamored with my “Best People in the Universe” tab, I’d like to make it my first tab.
So I place my cursor over the tab I want to move, click on it, and drag it where I want. In this case, I drag my “Best People in the Universe” all the way to the left.
Now when I open my browser, I see right away what my friends and family are doing.
Drag, drop, repeat. Try it out!

My Yahoo! Product Manager
Finally! I’ve been waiting a long time for this, and it works marvelously.
Love it! How about photos with each article entry next (AKA the Old My Yahoo Style)?
Thanks so much for adding this feature–it adds a lot of value to the My Yahoo service.

How do I delete excess “New Tabs”?
I’m kinda new to a lot of all of this, so I’m like a sponge soaking it all up. Learning something new all the time.
luved it
Really like the ability to move things around. Now, if we could just get that ad off the top right corner. I want my weather there.
Finally!
Why is Yahoo! so slow to implement such basic things as moving a tab.
Please, Yahoo!, wake-up! I’ve had a Yahoo! email for 10 years, and have never be curious about other webmails. Now I am thinking: should I go and check how gmail is ?…
Heyyy i really like it
But you still can only have three tabs across. I have 6 tabs, so I have three tabs resting on top of three other tabs. It looks like a mess.
It would be nicer (in my opinion) if there were a dedicated “tab bar” across the top of the page. That way, if you want 2, 5, 20 tabs across the top, you can have them. And THEN give us the ability to re-arrange the tabs in any particular order.
In it’s current state, tabs-over-tabs just doesn’t look right.
how can I get ried of a tab I do not want?
