Why can't I see a category for "Open Apps" when I try to add content? And when I search for "Open Apps," why don't any of the things you discuss here appear?

Is this because it only works on the Yahoo browser? I can't use the Yahoo browser because I have Vista, and Yahoo doesn't offer a browser that's compatible with Vista. Does that mean that those of us who have Vista can't use open apps?

Hi Mitch,

Open Apps run in the browser, and can thus be added to your My Yahoo! page. Yahoo! Widgets are designed to run on your desktop, which is a different environment.

In what way are Open Apps different from Yahoo! Widgets? Can Yahoo! Widgets be added to a My Yahoo! page? If not, then when?
