don't like the local module at all. I like the old maps module better. I don't want driving directions, I want to see a point on the map and then be able to see what is nearby. I want to be able to have a drop down with my saved locations on it IN the module. new results page is messy. I want "search local" to be default search tab. plus on top of all that is says it can't find my zip code!!!

sure. love to add it. But Except for the link in your article to the module, I was unable to find it with the add content tools (a search for local does not bring it up, strangely enough).

Perhaps that is why few users know about it.

I love it. I have been in countless discussions (let's call them meetings) talking about how this module is just the right amount of inspiration to put on your homepage. It's the best of Yahoo! Local to give me ideas on what to do after I get through with a day of meetings.

Thanks Michael-- way to go on this!
