Hi everyone,

I spend a lot of time in front of the computer and sometimes my eyes get tired. It’s even worse when I have to strain to read something on my screen. I’m not alone – lots of people were giving us similar feedback. In response, My Yahoo! has launched a new Font Size feature.

Increasing the font size on your screen is now an option in the personalization menu. Just click the Personalize this Page button and select ‘Large Fonts’ from the drop down menu. One click and your font goes up a size!

Before…

Now with larger fonts…

Ahhhh….My Yahoo!, my eyes thank you!

What a great idea! Especially for those of us who woke up one morning to find all the fonts in the world shrank overnight, LOL>

What a great Idea. I sometimes suffer from Tired sore Eyes after spending Hours at the Computer, and my Eyes get Blurred.I usually stop when this Happens as the Computer is just a Hobby and not needed for Work.

There is no difference between standard fonts and large fonts. I have use the settings more than once and the fonts are the same! What gives?

What is the advantage of this feature over using the browser’s built in ability to change font sizes?

That is very helpful. I’d love to say that small fonts are hard on my eyes because I’m getting old, but it’s more likely that I spend too much time reading blogs. :)

When I print an e-mail it is in very little font. I tried doing what it said above but it only changed the font on my screen. I want to change the font on my printed document.

How about changing the font size on incoming emails in Yahoo! Mail Classic. Some of the lines are too small for my old eyes to be able to see them without moving closer to the screen. The contrast of normal size to the small size seems to make it even more difficult to read.

Its preety good if you do some changes in font size. Many times it is very difficult of select the exact word. Rest of the thngs are best.
Thanks

I cannot seem to increase the font size enought when I print out my e-mails. They still print in very small print.
