I have the opposite problem. I use firefox, and I used to have a new tab pop up everytime I clicked on a link. Now I can't. So when I click on someone's email address....it doesn't open in a new window or tab. Firefox is set up properly. Anyone know what causes this problem?

I agree with Mark, I like it because when you close the tab it returns you to the same spot on the My Yahoo page where you clicked on the article. I would like to see this as an option in My Yahoo.

Really glad to hear this is a bug, because I was about to start looking for a new home page. It seems a few people actually like this behavior (*shudder*), so perhaps you can make it a configurable option. But count me among the majority who'd rather remove his own appendix with a screwdriver than to have popup windows appear every time I click on a link.

(BTW, if you *do* like your links to open in a different viewing panel, use shift-click for a new window, or ctrl-click or scrollwheel-click for a new tab. Easier than right-clicking and selecting from a menu, IMO.)

I am so happy this is a bug. I was afraid they had intentionately changed it. I will be very glad when it is fixed.

I would like to see this as an option. The way it is now, I'm ending up with about 10 open windows on my iPhone.

Wow, I am glad I clicked on the "help" page and found this post. I was beginning to think I was crazy. no browser setting for this behaviour, it just started happening. glad to know you guys have identified the problem and are fixing it. It is REALLY annoying.
