You may have noticed that a few things have changed on the header of your My Yahoo! page. We have been working to make it easier for you to find, discover, and add great content to your page.

In the header, you will see three new options, “Add Content,” “Change Appearance,” and “More Options.” With this new setup, you’re only one click away from making your page truly feel like home.

We’ve also made it easier to distinguish among your multiple My Yahoo! pages. With this new “tabbed” design, your additional pages will be separated as tabs that you can easily navigate. You will still be able to select a theme and layout for each unique page. Oh, and adding a tab is as simple as clicking “New Tab” at the right of your page tabs.

We are working on some other changes to My Yahoo!, so be sure to check in for future blog posts on these updates. Also, welcome to any international My Yahoo! fans who are seeing the new My Yahoo! for the first time!

For now, enjoy the new layout and comment on this post with your feedback.

A few weeks ago we asked for your ideas to help make the blog archives easier to search so you could find previous posts. After reading all of your great suggestions, we’ve added a tagging mechanism that categorizes posts by type. You’ll find the collection in the lower right under the heading “Tags.”

This new section lists many of the posts by their title, but also includes larger groupings such as “modules” and “themes.” These groups encompass all blog posts tagged under those labels. The larger the word appears, the more posts there are in that category.

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Hi everyone,

We’ve been making some changes here on the Blog, specifically to better organize old posts with the “Archives.” We have 77 posts since dating back to when we created the My Yahoo! Blog in April of 2007. We think the Blog features great tips for getting the most out of your page, and we want to make finding them as simple and easy as possible. That’s where you come in…

We need your ideas to help us make the “Archives” easier to search through so you can find posts from the past!

If you could be the designer for the My Yahoo! Blog, what would the “Archives” section look like? How would people find older posts? Should it be categorized by date or by the type of post (new modules, features, themes)? Post your ideas as comments to this blog post.

We recently added an expanding feature to the “Archives” section. When you click on a particular month, the posts from that month will drop down so you can navigate back instead of flipping through multiple pages. But we want to make it even better, show us what you’ve got!
