When Maria Sharapova appeared at Wimbledon in a scandalous tuxedo, I was the first of my friends to know. Ditto for “American Idol” Ruben Studdard’s marriage and Morgan Tsvangirai’s withdrawal from the Zimbabwe elections.

I fear this addiction is going to get worse now that I have the Yahoo! Buzz module on my My Yahoo! page…
